Limitation of liability for internal content

The content of our website has been compiled with meticulous care and to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot assume any liability for the up-to-dateness, completeness or accuracy of any of the pages.

Pursuant to section 7, para. 1 of the TMG (Telemediengesetz – Tele Media Act by German law), we as service providers are liable for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws. However, pursuant to sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, we as service providers are not under obligation to monitor external information provided or stored on our website. Once we have become aware of a specific infringement of the law, we will immediately remove the content in question. Data protection

A visit to our website can result in the storage on our server of information about the access (date, time, page accessed). This does not represent any analysis of personal data (e.g., name, address or e-mail address). If personal data are collected, this only occurs – to the extent possible – with the prior consent of the user of the website. Any forwarding of the data to third parties without the express consent of the user shall not take place.

We would like to expressly point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g., by e-mail) can offer security vulnerabilities. What we need

Black Gazelle will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ and ‘Processor’ of the personal data provided to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information, ie. race, religion, biometric data. This does however, include name, email address and location, as well as how you navigate the website. If you make purchases through our 'On Demand' area, all personal financial information is processed in accordance with GDPR regulations through a certified third party supplier.

Why we need it

We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with the services delivered on this website We use ‘legitimate interest’ as a basis for collecting this data. We will not collect any personal data from you which we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

What we do with it

All of the personal data we process is processed by our staff. For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We do not use any automatic profiling or processing systems. All personal data is processed manually, with the exception of personal financial information, which is processed by a certified third party supplier. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

 

How long we keep it

We will keep your data for a minimum of 6 years. We do not use your data for any direct marketing purposes.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.

You also have the right to ask Black Gazelle to delete any information which we hold on you – even if you are not unhappy with the way the information has been used. This is your ‘right to be forgotten’.
